Leda Part I: Early EXP Farms and Cai's Carriage Shortcut

Firsthand-tested Leda route opportunities: farm fighting around Olympia's braziers, delay Lechner's escape to fight reinforcements, and ride Cai-unlocked carriages to buy Mu's Qiankun Circles early.

4 min readSpoilers: mechanics

My short answer

On my Leda Part I save, Cai's previously unlocked carriage stops worked even where ordinary travel appeared blocked, letting me reach southern shops and buy Qiankun Circles for Mu. I also farmed combat during Olympia's brazier battle and while delaying the Lechner escape objective. The dungeon access and reinforcement limits still need testing.

Where I am
After the Lechner escape encounter I reached my first approximately 120-turn free-time window, and arena training has now unlocked. My Leda team is already roughly level 9-14, with Leda about 14 and Mu about 10-11 (all approximate). Leda already has Bow C or better, Mini Bow, Longbow and Chosen Sword. Mu earned Gauntlets C and Swords D in the Lechner battle before the arena was even available; she has Qiankun Circles obtained via Cai's carriage shortcut. Buccar has Da Mina Axe. The blacksmith is not unlocked yet, so weapon maintenance is my near-term concern. Guzran retained Pale Raven Support level 3 across the Cai and Leda stories.
Next
Use the current free-time window for intentional weapon/class development, weekly activities, Support and repair planning rather than unnecessary inn auto-leveling. Preserve valuable Combat Art durability until the blacksmith opens. Check the exact chapter/deadline and roster before assigning turns.

These are opportunities I discovered in my own save while playing Leda after finishing Cai Part I. They are not guaranteed shortcuts for a fresh playthrough. My chronological Leda journal records what I did; this page makes the repeatable tactics and their limits easier to find.

Three early opportunities

OpportunityWhat I actually didWhat is not yet established
Olympia's brazier battleAttacked opponents while they were occupied with braziers, pushed stronger units to their return points, and leveled Leda to 10 before winningExact respawn rules and whether all gains persist on a defeat/retry
Lechner escape objectivePositioned Leda near the escape destination, delayed the finish, and fought additional arriving enemies for levelsWhether reinforcements are literally infinite, the maximum practical farming window, final unit levels
Inherited carriage routesUsed previously unlocked Cai carriage links on Leda's route despite apparent travel/Renown restrictions; traveled south and bought Qiankun Circles for MuWhich specific stations work, whether every Renown gate can be bypassed, and whether this carries to Dietrich/Theodora

Lechner: keep the escape available, then fight as long as it helps

The story battle involving Lechner changed to an escape objective for Leda. I advanced toward the escape position first, giving myself a way out, but spent extra turns fighting the continuing reinforcements before ending my attempt at farming.

Evidence boundary: My report supports repeated extra enemies and EXP gained. I did not count enemy waves or prove that reinforcements cannot run out. I also did not document the exact final turn or completion screen. The battle's offer to retain EXP after a failed attempt was discussed earlier for Olympia; I have not confirmed that all EXP types are retained after restarting this Lechner encounter.

Carriage bypass: earlier shopping and scouting

I wondered if carriage routes unlocked on Cai would remain selectable while playing Leda, even though my ordinary map access was blocked or gated by Renown. I tested it, and the carriage trip succeeded.

The confirmed result: Mu's weapon

I wanted to reach the southern shopping area to buy Qiankun Circles. I got there and purchased the weapon for Mu. Because I could not recall the shop town name clearly, Alecto is marked likely: an independent item listing identifies Alecto Armory as a seller, but I have not checked the actual town name in my Leda save.

This is a meaningful practical advantage: I could acquire the equipment when I wanted it, not merely after Leda's normal walking route opened. The user-confirmed fact is the purchase; independent store listings supply the tentative name.

The expanded exploration options

The carried-over travel network also let me approach or identify access toward:

DungeonPublished Part I recommended levelMy Leda-route evidence
Cave Behind the Falls (Castalia)22I observed that expanded travel access made it reachable; clear not reported
Giant's-Print Fort (Ogmios)35I could travel toward its area through carriage routes; entry/clear not reported

The suggested levels are from the external dungeon directory and are not my actual party levels. At the subsequent first long Leda free-time window, I estimated Leda around level 14 and Mu around 10–11. Exact post-Lechner level screenshots are still unavailable. Reaching a level-35 dungeon early does not prove I can clear it with that army.

What to test without replaying old chapters

  • Record the exact carriage starting stop and destination that crossed Leda's blocked/Renown-gated region.
  • Photograph the Alecto (or other town) shop map label and Mu's equipped Qiankun Circles.
  • Confirm whether Cave Behind the Falls and Giant's-Print Fort can both be entered on this route, not just reached geographically.
  • If an enemy farm is available, note the last observed turn and whether it stops; avoid presenting an uncounted stream as provably infinite.
  • When Dietrich's Part I starts, check whether those same Cai carriage stops work there too.

Newer observed results: After the Lechner battle, with arena training newly unlocked, Leda already had Bow C+, while Mu had Gauntlets C and Swords D, achieved through using those weapons in the Lechner combat itself. Mu's Qiankun Circles were an early purchase; Buccar also obtained Da Mina Axe. Blacksmith access remains unavailable, creating a durability/repair concern. These are experiments and hard-earned advantages, not barriers to finishing Leda's story. The route remains in progress.

  • In-gameMy own Fortune's Weave save (Leda, Part I, November 2026)

Firsthand reports from November 3-6, 2026. Leda reached level 10 and Buccar approximately 8-9 in Olympia's brazier battle, using returning enemies for combat training before winning. Kalla Blessing level 3 persisted from Cai. During the Lechner escape objective, I held off finishing and fought repeated reinforcements for EXP; the total number of waves and exact end-of-battle outcome are not documented. Carriages unlocked on Cai's route worked for Leda beyond apparently blocked or Renown-restricted areas. I traveled south and actually bought Qiankun Circles for Mu, and explored expanded travel access toward Giant's-Print Fort and the Cave Behind the Falls. Precise paths, whether either dungeon was entered or cleared, current levels, and exact town name remain to be confirmed. This is a report of one save, not proof that every route shares the same behavior.

  • CommunityUnverifiedQiankun Circles listed in Alecto Armory

Independent item catalog lists Alecto Armory as a seller. The user's item purchase is firsthand-confirmed, but he did not recall the town name precisely. Treat Alecto as the likely location rather than as a confirmed save detail.

  • In-gamePlayer-reported Cai finale and Leda free-time roster, Nov 6 2026

User reports Cai finale was an overwhelming victory: most ordinary enemies fell in one hit, except for Goliath and Bertrand. Nearly everyone was high-30s or low-40s. Approximately one unit may have been lost; Sofia is a possibility, not a confirmed casualty. Later in Leda Part I, after Lechner and at the first approximately 120-turn free-time window with arena training just unlocked, team levels are estimated 9-14, Leda around 14 and Mu around 10-11. Leda already has Bow C or above from combat, Mini Bow, Longbow and Chosen Sword. Mu had already reached Gauntlets C and Swords D using real combat in the Lechner encounter, before arena training; Qiankun Circles purchased. Buccar has Da Mina Axe. Blacksmith access has not yet opened, making weapon repair an immediate concern. Guzran's Pale Raven Support 3 persisted from Cai into Leda's story. These are firsthand user reports, but all approximated levels and the identity of any fallen unit are still estimates.
