    Play the grid maps by hand. In a dungeon, explore everything and let the Clashes resolve themselves — preemptive strike, then Skip to Conclusion, and take manual control only when that fails or the fight is actually doing something.

    Understand every system; deliberately optimize only the ones that make the game less repetitive. Finish the game before trying to perfect it, and treat replay as permission to experiment rather than a punishment for missing something.
