Before 3/7: My Chapter 4 Checklist
My current stop point: every available quest is complete, Renown is level 3, and the Gaia Brigade qualifier is next. The only mentorship I need to care about right now is Castor's Terrain Tips.

My short answer
At Renown 3, complete Castor's Terrain Tips for the Bolt Gem if it is still open. Centurio's Archer's Ring mentorship was the tutorial. Aurora's Staying Healthy requires Renown 4, so it is not currently available.

- Free Time 2 before the 3/7 Gaia Brigade qualifier. I found the missing granddaughter and have completed every Kindness Quest and Subquest currently available to me. My Renown level is 3.

- Before advancing into the 3/7 qualifier, complete Castor's Terrain Tips mentorship if it is still open, check whether I have already seen the optional Bertrand jail scene, then use any remaining turns intentionally.

I spent long enough looking for that granddaughter that I do not intend to reconstruct any of this next time I pick up the controller.
Mentoring available to me now
Castor — Terrain Tips
Available now: yes.
Reward: Bolt Gem.
This is the mentorship I should complete before advancing if it is still sitting open. It is specifically recommended during this part of Cai's route.
Centurio — tutorial mentorship
I already passed through the Mentoring tutorial with Centurio.
Reward: Archer's Ring.
This is not a new Renown-gated mentorship I need to chase now; it was the system introduction immediately before Free Time 2.
Aurora — Staying Healthy
Available to me now: no, not at Renown 3.
It opens at Renown level 4.
Reward: Healing Staff.
So I do not need to burn time trying to make Aurora's mentorship appear before 3/7. It is a future checkpoint.
One optional scene I should verify
There is an optional Bertrand scene in the jail during this Free Time that awards Cai Sword EXP.
I may already have seen it; the site does not have a confirmed personal flag for it yet. So this is a check once, not an instruction to replay or grind anything.
What happens when I advance
The 3/7 event is the Qualifier: Gaia Brigade.
That means I have not yet cleared the qualifier and I am not in Chapter 5 yet. The site previously had that wrong and this update corrects it.
The next chapter begins only after that qualifier and its follow-up events.
