Leda Part I: Boons, Training, and Recruit Plan

The forward-looking Leda build and recruitment plan, updated after firsthand Lechner reinforcement farming and inherited carriage travel unlocked Qiankun Circles for Mu.

5 min readSpoilers: mechanics

My short answer

Leda is around level 14 with Bow C+, Mu around 10-11 with Gauntlets C and Swords D already earned in Lechner combat before arena training unlocked. Prioritize purposeful progression and weapon care until Blacksmith opens.

Where I am
After the Lechner escape encounter I reached my first approximately 120-turn free-time window, and arena training has now unlocked. My Leda team is already roughly level 9-14, with Leda about 14 and Mu about 10-11 (all approximate). Leda already has Bow C or better, Mini Bow, Longbow and Chosen Sword. Mu earned Gauntlets C and Swords D in the Lechner battle before the arena was even available; she has Qiankun Circles obtained via Cai's carriage shortcut. Buccar has Da Mina Axe. The blacksmith is not unlocked yet, so weapon maintenance is my near-term concern. Guzran retained Pale Raven Support level 3 across the Cai and Leda stories.
Next
Use the current free-time window for intentional weapon/class development, weekly activities, Support and repair planning rather than unnecessary inn auto-leveling. Preserve valuable Combat Art durability until the blacksmith opens. Check the exact chapter/deadline and roster before assigning turns.

Status: Leda Part I, first roughly 120-turn free time after the Lechner encounter. Arena training just unlocked; blacksmith not unlocked. Start with my actual chronological Leda playthrough, then my firsthand farming and carriage shortcut guide. Those pages record the confirmed discoveries, including Mu's newly purchased Qiankun Circles. This page is the separate forward-looking class, Boon and recruitment plan, not a record of classes or recruits I have already obtained. Cai Part I is complete; I still intend Dietrich and Theodora Part I before Cai's War Arc.

My Karma and Blessing starting point

5,070 Karma Shards were reported on November 2, 2026, before new purchases. The Olympia fight subsequently showed substantial proficiency and character-level growth from existing Boons, but the specific upgrades purchased and current Karma balance remain unreported. I had already purchased most first-tier proficiency EXP bonuses during Cai, but haven't supplied the updated Boons menu screenshot. Do not assume the exact purchased set or the remaining balance after any future purchase.

Blessing levels last reported at the end of Cai's route: Aurora 3, Smyrnos 3, Kalla 3, Mars 1. New firsthand confirmation (November 3): Kalla's level-3 Blessing carried over to Leda's Part I, as checked at the first story visit to Kalla's Temple. The other three levels have not yet been individually confirmed in Leda's menu. I did not use Blessings in combat through Cai's entire Part I. That makes Blessing-use discounts a low priority even though some Blessings are leveled.

Boon shopping order (provisional until menu costs are photographed)

  1. Class EXP to the currently available +10% / +1 level: class abilities and experimentation without excessive grinding.
  2. Ordinary EXP toward the in-game available +30% tier: useful for a fresh army; turn it down if enemies become trivial.
  3. Bow and Sword proficiency EXP toward the available +20% tiers, prioritizing whichever has not already been purchased.
  4. Infantry proficiency EXP to support the proposed physical class development.
  5. Blacksmith and meal discounts; then rich deposits, carriage and other convenience discounts as the actual costs justify.
  6. White Magic proficiency EXP if missing; skip Blessing discounts until I begin activating Blessings regularly.

The exact cost calculation is pending the screenshots. The Olympia fight is over, so these are ongoing build priorities, not instructions to go back and repeat the battle. Do not spend a fictitious Karma budget.

Leda's proposed path

Hunter → Archer and/or Rogue → Dancer → later Apsara, subject to the actual certification requirements and route unlock. Prioritize Bow, Sword, Infantry; White Magic is a lower-priority optional tool. Dancer's extra ally action is the reason for the plan: it can amplify an already dominant attacker better than adding another average attack.

An earlier research answer suggested Great Dancer's Successor in Chapter 9 and Sword B/Bow B to unlock Dancer. These are research leads awaiting first-hand verification, not guarantees. Check the request journal and certification screen when Leda reaches the relevant chapter.

Leda's immediate orbit — roles, not promises

CharacterProposed jobTraining directionConfidence
LedaBow fighter with proposed action-support developmentBow C+ already achieved; Mini Bow, Longbow, Chosen Sword obtained; Dancer still only plannedWeapon rank and loadout reported; class plan provisional
BuccarPhysical frontline; Da Mina Axe acquiredAxe/Infantry or armored lane only if confirmed requirements support itWeapon confirmed; build undecided
MuDual-proficiency melee with Qiankun Circles purchasedGauntlets C and Swords D already achieved during Lechner battle, before arena training; future class choice provisionalRanks and weapon reported; class plan provisional
SiroccoDistinct melee or magic specialistInspect in-game ranks first: earlier site notes favor Sword/Shido while later chat suggested magic/OvateConflicting advice
OlympiaDedicated healerWhite Magic; Priest → Bishop if availableProvisional
CataniaAdditional durable or mobile roleCheck actual base class and ranks: earlier notes suggest Heavy/Dreadnought, later advice proposed flyingConflicting advice

Why not silently settle Buccar, Sirocco, or Catania? Different earlier recommendations contradicted one another. The party should be assembled from their actual starting stats and proficiencies rather than overwriting uncertainty with a confident-sounding path.

Early equipment and travel that changed the plan

Confirmed from my save: Cai's previously unlocked carriage network can take Leda past travel paths that appear blocked by current route/Renown requirements. I used it to shop early and buy Qiankun Circles for Mu in a southern town (likely Alecto, based on an external item listing; exact shop label not photographed). I also found apparent access toward Cave Behind the Falls and Giant's-Print Fort without clearing either. These discoveries open early equipment and optional combat opportunities, but I should not send level-10-era units into high-level dungeons merely because I can travel there. See the firsthand discovery guide for what worked and what remains uncertain.

Why Auto-Leveling isn't my current priority

At the first extended free-time window (roughly 120 turns), my lowest units are already about level 9–10, and my strongest character is Leda at around level 14. I had already earned the above Bow, Gauntlet and Sword proficiency milestones in actual combat before the arena's training option became available. Arena training can target my next milestones, but generic inn Auto-Leveling does not fit what I want to optimize. My old roughly 40-turn inn experiment on Cai had been disappointing. My goal is purposeful weapon proficiency, class abilities, equipment and battlefield familiarity, not a passive numeric level increase.

Near-term danger: no Blacksmith yet. I have valuable weapons but still lack access to the repair/upgrade system on this Leda chapter. Prioritize managing durability rather than assuming a repair opportunity already exists. The exact chapter of unlocking is outside this firsthand checkpoint and should be confirmed in-game.

Cross-route Support: Guzran's Pale Raven Support 3 was still level 3 on Leda after Cai. This is an observed persistence example, not a verified blanket rule for every pair.

Future route choice: I plan to play all four War Arcs manually after completing all four Part I stories. I want to learn my teams' abilities through fighting and make a decisive victory the payoff for preparation, rather than accept an automatically leveled roster I don't understand.

Additional recruits to research

Guzran, Loretta, Fianna, and Kiroc are interesting proposed targets because they could provide sword speed, flying flexibility, mounted healing and ranged control. Their Leda-route availability, costs, chapter unlocks, and eligibility still require verification. I will not list them as already recruited or promise they are accessible on this route.

Avoid grinding for recruits who merely duplicate existing jobs. Goliath remains a possible Dietrich Part I project rather than a reason to replay Cai's Chapter 12 again.

The way I want this run to feel

Cai taught me to build a cast of specialists I actually enjoy: fast mobile offense, a lethal defender, meaningful magic support, and equipment that makes the turn-to-turn tactics satisfying. For Leda, I'll keep the same philosophy while experimenting with extra-action support and unfamiliar class combinations. The goal is a distinctive team, not four copies of Cai's party.

My completed Cai story and the factual checkpoint notebook remain separate but linked.

  • In-gameMy own Fortune's Weave save (Cai, Part I)

Oct 30 new firsthand update: reached Cai Part I Chapter 12 Just One Wish, turn 1. No new character levels, equipment changes or Chapter 11 event outcomes supplied; the October 29 roster is last directly measured. Historical: Oct 29 Switch screenshots prove all eight exact levels, classes, HP, combat stats, current equipped gear and character abilities: Cai41 Alexandra36 Tialla36 Peter32 Guzran32 Noctula31 Sofia31 Jasmine30. Also the personal background screens for all eight. Fewer than about 20 turns left in Cai Part I Chapter 10, with Giant's-Print Fort and Bertrand/Talimun complete. The Oct 26 observations and older level-28 Jasmine screenshot remain historical; do not infer unreported level-up rolls, completed Anna quest or a chapter replay.

  • In-gameMy own Fortune's Weave save (Leda, Part I, November 2026)

Firsthand reports from November 3-6, 2026. Leda reached level 10 and Buccar approximately 8-9 in Olympia's brazier battle, using returning enemies for combat training before winning. Kalla Blessing level 3 persisted from Cai. During the Lechner escape objective, I held off finishing and fought repeated reinforcements for EXP; the total number of waves and exact end-of-battle outcome are not documented. Carriages unlocked on Cai's route worked for Leda beyond apparently blocked or Renown-restricted areas. I traveled south and actually bought Qiankun Circles for Mu, and explored expanded travel access toward Giant's-Print Fort and the Cave Behind the Falls. Precise paths, whether either dungeon was entered or cleared, current levels, and exact town name remain to be confirmed. This is a report of one save, not proof that every route shares the same behavior.

  • CommunityUnverifiedQiankun Circles listed in Alecto Armory

Independent item catalog lists Alecto Armory as a seller. The user's item purchase is firsthand-confirmed, but he did not recall the town name precisely. Treat Alecto as the likely location rather than as a confirmed save detail.

  • In-gamePlayer-reported Cai finale and Leda free-time roster, Nov 6 2026

User reports Cai finale was an overwhelming victory: most ordinary enemies fell in one hit, except for Goliath and Bertrand. Nearly everyone was high-30s or low-40s. Approximately one unit may have been lost; Sofia is a possibility, not a confirmed casualty. Later in Leda Part I, after Lechner and at the first approximately 120-turn free-time window with arena training just unlocked, team levels are estimated 9-14, Leda around 14 and Mu around 10-11. Leda already has Bow C or above from combat, Mini Bow, Longbow and Chosen Sword. Mu had already reached Gauntlets C and Swords D using real combat in the Lechner encounter, before arena training; Qiankun Circles purchased. Buccar has Da Mina Axe. Blacksmith access has not yet opened, making weapon repair an immediate concern. Guzran's Pale Raven Support 3 persisted from Cai into Leda's story. These are firsthand user reports, but all approximated levels and the identity of any fallen unit are still estimates.

  • In-gameMy one-playthrough mastery-through-preparation preferences

Owner's stated play philosophy: an overwhelming one-shot victory is the reward for excellent preparation and mastery of systems, not evidence that a battle was boring. Close battles indicate a possible preparation gap rather than being inherently preferable. Prefer intentional combat proficiency, class development, gear, support and route synergies over generic auto-leveling. Owner expects to play all four Part I stories and personally play all four Part II War Arcs rather than auto-skip, because personally training 20-30 familiar characters is part of the experience, especially after qualifiers with unfamiliar borrowed units. Owner might not replay the whole game and is interested in DLC.
